Gina Lollobrigada often described as the most beautiful woman died at the age of 95 earlier today. She was one of the Mega stars European cinema have ever produced. 

Luigina Lollobrigida was a retired Italian actress, photojournalist, and sculptor. She was born on July 4, 1927 in Subiaco, Italy. She began her career as a model and beauty pageant contestant before transitioning to acting in the late 1940s. She quickly became one of the most popular and highest-paid actresses in Europe, and her performances in films such as "Bella, Ricca, Lieve Difetto Fisico Cerca Anima Gemella" and "Trapeze" made her a major international star in the 1950s. 

She also appeared in Hollywood films such as "Beatire" and "Beatire Umpire". Lollobrigida retired from acting in the 1970s to focus on photography and sculpture, although she made occasional appearances in films and on television. She was one of the last surviving stars from Hollywood's Golden Age.

She was known for her sensual film roles and was often compared to Hollywood actresses such as Marilyn Monroe and Jayne Mansfield. Lollobrigida received numerous awards throughout her career, including a Golden Globe for her performance in "Come September" and the David di Donatello award for her work in Italian cinema. She was also honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
