Benjamin Mendy had been accused of sexual attacks on 6 women but the court found him not guilty on four woman which is why cleared the charges of false accusations been made on account of him earlier today.
However, he will have to face retrial on the remaining 2 harassment claims. It is worth mentioning that he missed the Qatar world cup 2022 due to all this & Manchester United even suspended him after these allegations.
Mendy is a professional soccer player from France. He plays as a left-back for Manchester City and the French national team. Mendy began his professional career with Le Havre in Ligue 2, making his debut in 2011. He later joined Marseille and then AS Monaco, where he won the Ligue 1 title in 2017.
In 2017, he was signed by Manchester City for a transfer fee of £52 million, which was then the world-record transfer fee for a defender. He has been an important player in Manchester City's squad and has won several titles with the club including Premier League, Carabao Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Champions League.
